Not all vikings were men! The Shield Maidens were badass in their own right. So we named Mad Swede co-owner Susie Larson’s favorite beer after these strong women. Our Shield Maiden is a hoppy, earthy, lightly roasty, “black IPA”, with floral notes and the full flavor of a dark ale.
