Plan your garden with the pros at Global Gardens while drinking beer, making DIY crafts, and bidding on incredible prizes! This growing season, join Mad Swede Brewing for community-building Garden Parties.
On April 19th, local farmers from Global Gardens present “Planning Your Garden For Success” while Mad Swede Brewing pours beers and Jordan’s Garden Center provides the goods you need to make your garden thrive this season.
Global Gardens helps refugee farmers in Idaho access land to feed their families and earn a fair wage, running a beautiful farm right here in Boise where you can buy veggies! They offer more than 100 garden spaces to families, so they know a thing or two about garden planning. You won’t want to miss their talk as you’re planning your garden this Spring:
-During the party, $1 from every beer sold will go directly towards their work growing healthy and regenerative local food and supporting Idaho refugees.
-Enjoy DIY crafts for kids of all ages! We’ll have a craft station set up with garden friendly crafts like paint-your-own flower pots. Donations appreciated.
-Come prepared for a SILENT AUCTION loaded with amazing prizes from Global Gardens, Jordan’s Garden Center , and Mad Swede, including Mad Swede-made upcycled barrel planters and even a Mad Swede-welded firepit! There will be prizes from small to large in order to welcome all bidding levels to the fundraising party. Proceeds will go to Global Gardens.
