The format
Winners, Runners-up of Comic of the Month ’23, and Audition Picks will compete for the chance to earn money, tools, and opportunites to hone their craft during each round they advance.
Judges score each set and audience votes for their favorites to crown the champion.
There’s a bonus prize of a $1,000 and the title of COMIC OF THE YEAR for the comic taking it all in this 4 WEEK COMPETITION.

30+ comics – 5 minute sets – 14 will be chosen to move on to Round 2.

The 14 that moved on from round 1 will participate in The Riff. Only 7 contestants go on to the Semi Finals.

– Semi Finals -MAD SWEDE DOWNTOWN
Each competitor does a new 10 minute set on topics given at the beginning of the competition. The top 4 will move on to the FINALS.

– FINALS – THE LINEN BUILDING
